What did they get wrong? Hosmer maybe? Daniel Murphy over Zobrist in the NL I guess, but thats still splitting hairs really.

That being said, Im not sure why the fans need the vote. Most of the choices are obvious, that the only thing fans really can do is vote in mistakes lol.

Addison Russell is hitting .234 and is starting at SS.

The Royals had players in the top 5 in voting at nearly every position despite having almost no deserving players.

Michael Saunders is having a good year. Not All-Star worthy.

There were so many deserving players that got no recognition at all and weren't even top 5 in voting at their position. Even Justin Smoak was 4th or 5th at first base in the AL despite being fucking trash.

Yikes I didn't realize he was that bad compared to the other top SS in the NL.

Anyway the fans only vote for the starters and the last guy on the roster. I guess this sets itself up to be a stupid popularity contest, which is pretty dumb. Its not like people wouldn't watch if Brandon Crawford was starting instead of Addison Russel, so in that sense I can agree that the fans don't really deserve to vote lol.
