funny story, I was umping a highschool game 2 days ago and san diago had scouts there watching one of the pitchers was a fun time.

Its kinda weird knowing that if you're 16 and throwing 93, somebody is watching you. Like, literally, all you need to do is light up a radar gun for -some- professional team to at least have eyes on you.

naw not early highschool,hes in his last year, I used to pitch at that highschool with him, I was a relief pitcher he started games I finished them, we threw a no hitter together and hes throwing like 92 atm and he has great control. Article about him attached.

on the velocity issue when I pitched to a 1.60ish era in college baseball a year ago there were scouts who gave me some consideration but my velocity was only like 84-86 at peak so they told me I didn't throw hard enough or accurately enough to take a flyer on. Going to play college football this fall tho so pro sports still might be in my future #throwingmyownthreadofftopicwithacurveballpost
