I think it's the fact that so many people hate mod Mark when they should really be hating Mod Pips and Mod MMG for SoF/SGS. Mod Mark had zero control in that area.

(Mod Pips is responsible for the health of Runescape; product advertising and revenue.) Mod Mark just leads the content development.
