Hey guys & gals! I would just like to talk about Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For the past 4 years in a row, every October, I make my Max/Comp cape pink (depending on if I'm behind on comp reqs or not).
I lost 2 very close relatives of mine due to Cancer. My aunt, 5 years ago due to Breast Cancer and my grandpa 24 years ago due to Lung Cancer.
However, the reason I created this post is because if you lost any family members or close ones to you due to any kind of cancer, I feel like we should all wear pink on our capes. I feel that we can stand together against this issue and spread awareness in-game as well.
Breast cancer can affect men too, Cyanid, it's just that men have less breast tissue so it is less common.
Motor, in the past there used to be a pink-clothes event organised by players specifically for this reason. That was a few years ago and I don't think it's run anymore. I haven't lost anyone, but as they say, everybody knows someone who is affected, and a family friend of mine is. I might change my hair to pink this month or put something in my in-game examine
You're seriously going to sit there and tell me that breast cancer awareness isn't all about pandering to women when the colors associated with this are pink? I mean it's very obvious what this is all about, at least be honest with yourself.

I appreciate the fact that you're respectful and not trolling like the other guy.

There's several dozen forms of cancer but we need some stupid awareness month for one form that exclusively affects females. Yeah, ok.
We have Movember and No Shave November for bringing awareness to men's prostate cancer.
But boobs are more sexy than anything else you can have cancer in, so that's why they're really milking it as much as they can.
Do consider that there are other cancers and diseases that have other femenine colors such as cystic fibrosis which I believe is represented with purple. I do also have an aunt who died of stage 4 breast cancer so I changed my cape to pink as well.
I didn't choose the demon life, the demon life chose me.
