joke. I cancelled my appointment today 3 hours before and they were like "we won't be able to schedule you on a weekend-day ever again" and asked me my reason for cancelling.

I felt terrible because it was sort of shitty of me.... I just didn't feel like driving 3 hours to get there, but it's the only dentist office I go to because it's the best. I've been going there for a long time since I lived in the area and looking at reviews it gets 5 stars from everyone

Post your dental experience(s)

A dentist once told me that my gum had "a bit of an infection" due to a wisdom tooth and it actually turned out to be a benign tumour and I had to have half my jaw removed

So there's that

What seriously? Is everything okay now?

e: I hope you sued the incompetent bastards

If you miss two appointments you get struck off the register.

Bitch behind the desk told me I missed my previous one once despite me having no recollection of any letter requesting I make an appointment or even making an appointment.

I got the last laugh because they'd spelt questionnaire with one n on their poster asking patients to fill one in.

My old dentist was what would be considered old school I guess and gave everythign a right prodding. Although I don't think he really cared as he told my sister she didn't have wisdom teeth, but she was sure they were and as she was a nurse she had an x ray at hospital ended up that she had two sets of wisdom teeth...

Now it is some overly happy guy and he's alright. I wonder if he's taking happy pills due to the profession being depressive and having high suicide rates.

If Scott M reads this plz share any funny stories of patients :P

^ THat's crazy. That's why I only go to the same dentist because the one's who actually work on my teeth are really polite and helpful about dental hygiene. I trust them :D it's just a hassle to drive so far and they have really tight appointment schedules.

I rescheduled at the earliest a month from now :(
