It kills me how so many people hate windows 8. The only problem with 8 is that it was focused towards touch screens, and every single one of those things can be easily disabled to make it look and feel identical to any other previous OS (quite literally..). Windows 8 is twice as fast as 7 ever was, and it uses way less memory.
I do agree to not upgrade to 10, though. Not very much stuff is compatible with it quite yet and the amount of bugs in it are asinine. It's never a good idea to upgrade right after a new OS is released, as in 6+ months after official releases, you want the guinea pigs to use it first.
