if you're going through USAF to do F16 piloting you might have a hard time, they're starting to phase them out once the F-35 gets into mass production. Same with A-10, F/A- 18 (excluding the E/F Super Hornet) and AV-8B aka harrier.

also to be a pilot in the USAF you have to be in tip top shape and be at the tp of your class typically now.
It is a Dream profession, won't be studying for pilot anytime soon ( I am half deaf on both ears) unless the brand BOSE, make equipment that i'll able to hear, that'd be great
PS: it was a child dream to fly one of those
