I'll play along. Your OP will just fill up with nominations. Make a threshold to actually count people for the vote, say 5 or 10. After a week or 2 then you put the remaining top nominees to a vote. If you are thinking nominations are votes they are not the same thing. This is already going as badly as power player polls have some respect for your own work.
