I have debated for a while now about posting this topic.
One reason is to really see if it could be possible or should be in game.
Reaching goals in game just 5 years ago was a grind then perks for accomplishments in skills started popping up.
Or even a new way skilling an example lets pick Ourania Runecrafting altar for arguments sake.
This was one of the first updates to a skill outside of Sawn Song for Fishing that had come a long in a while - to revive and to help ease the grinding that so many players were stuck with.
Fast forward to now - many have no clue as to the grinding on a skill that most of Old Timers experienced and dreaded.
Now we have skilling sets and capes with perks as well as updates to so many skills that just a few years ago seems like a life time ago.
Even now it seems as if those developing game content cannot see the Forrest for the trees.
I have been back grinding on mining so I can then get the Masterwork items unlocked and while I LOVE the fact that ores do not dissipate as the did in the past with slow re-spawn rates the perks for reaching level 99+ are meh; in many skills.
What about the perks that we already have in place.
Such as the Varrock Armour or WC?
What about having those skilling sets transport the Wood or Ore straight to the bank?
Without having a portent of teleport or bank notes?
As a level rises then so do the perks.
Smithing we have many items that are basic and can be upgraded to level 5
Why is the Elder Ore Box not up-gradable?
Why is the Herb bag and essence storage not up-gradable to fit the wearers skilling level within a skill?
NO it should not be nerfed but there should be some type of incentive some type of better perk that should be given to those that achieve the higher limits of skills.
