I don't need any kind of reply from j mods, and thats cause I feel like if I wonder aloud, perhaps debate with HLF snipers, and leave remains for whatever CM it will get filtered and make it to right person eventually.

So I was unaware that jagex had a lost item report form at all, and ofc reddit making a big to do over the guy who got millions of water battlestaves, so it seems prudent to wonder what qualifies, and how to rarify those kind of requests in future cause of course they'd eat up way too many manpower hours.

I had the long exchanges with Raven about dungeoneering's bind loss, and I truly think all the stuff he implemented was way way better than I had dared hoped. All the stuff with bind load outs, hard mode, etc: truly amazing fix... and a fix for everyone not just me, and each individual with problems like me. No joke I might actually take a knee to overlord raven at a runefest in future.

I had another thing happen though that I did witness, and I reported, and I think its fixed, but lemme elaborate: My legendary pet picked up one of those t85 gloves from automatons, and my bag was full, so he ate it. No gloves for me. I think thats a reproduceable thing, easy for yall to do with bug testing etc. But... I can't help but wonder after 11k stalker kills if my legendary pet might have picked up the gazer charm to unlock pet, eaten it, and also confused data to make it seem like I already had it, so that it didnt drop again. Im not saying I lost it, but that potential exists there for players to submit lots of item lost reports on stuff like that.

I think the very best fix is something like the streamlining of unlocks for the cremate bones, sacrifice, etc as you grind out some gwd minions... like after so many kills you unlock the slayer pet as a matter of course... like with the skins for gold kerry or black gladys.

Moreover the news stating that shattered worlds is the new exclusive home of the many slayer masks... that seems a lot grindy, and

and the potential for mischief seems pretty high to match the increase of grind on shattered worlds. Im not sure how you could lose an item like that, but its easy to imagine it becomes someone's desperate bid for freedom submitting a false report, right?

so I have to ask if it would be prudent to add an option to the taxidermist in canifis to either stuff many of the low level slayer heads, or to tan them into masks. Especially the lower level ones like crawling hand, basilisk head, cockatrice head, etc.

Maybe more heads come into the game too? idk. some of those for higher level slayer monsters not a great big priority, but... those lower level ones for sure worth the future proofing considerations.

Just leaving that for commentary: While the masks are gone from TH, they most likely won't be from Vic - so if you're willing to wait a couple of months you can easily buy them from him. That said I of course would agree that the prices at ShW need to be drastically cut. With MTX out of the way, there is literally no more reason to be unlocked in the awful fashion they were introduced to.

Also they said that those masks weren't the best idea they ever had, so I wouldn't count on introducing even more - albeit I generally liked the basic idea behind them.

As for your gloves - legendary pets don't 'eat' drops they can't pick up, they'll just remain wherever they dropped. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

ha ha yeah I aint reporting 500k gloves lost, and its not really about that/me, but trying to use empathy to understand the confluence of greed/desperation that leads to false item recovery requests. I think they fixed that with a patch years ago too, and moreso what I mean is that for especially the untradeable items like slay heads for stuffing/tanning that obtaining could be the method to get fix, instead of lots of other kinds of patches. The 30m water staff guy only got suspended for 2 weeks. How long would they suspend someone for false reporting loss of a untradeable mask? 2 hours?

anyways I tilted my daughter at those slay masks with highest priority for the teleports on them. Told her to choose those first, then skill outfits, then lamps/stars, then coins.
