This is an odd one, so be ready.

My first 99 was Firemaking, best skill in RS... :P When i was Fm'ing, there was an advert on the TV, an LV insturance advert to be exact. It had a strangly memorable theme tune and after finishing firemaking, I'd hear the same theme tune (It's still used to this day) and I'd think back to firemaking and then was motivated to work on another 99, still hearing that same tune.

Odd, but it stuck and kept me motivated.

Games a lot easier now, I'd argue getting 99 RC in 2007 is the same play count as getting 99 everything now. Pre 99 RC ZMI was 20k xp/h without runners, now you can touch 500k xp/h without bonus

How did you motivate yourself? What was hard? What was the most fun?

I was a teenager, I couldnt get off 4 hours of sleep and RS was my life.

What's different now than when you started? Xp rates are like 20x. RC was 20k xp/h now you can touch 500k without bxp.

How did you motivate yourself? The game was great, big player base and the community was tight-knit. Clans were good you had MSN messenger, winamp pre youtube and IRC. Life was good.

Who inspires you? Nobody
