Has anyone else experienced this lately? Was trying to recomp but with the completion of the “violet is blue” quest two songs did not unlock during it with no way of re obtaining them currently.

No. The tracks unlocked as intended for me.

It looks like you have completed them both now, but it's important to note that there are two quests in this series: 'Violet is Blue' and 'Violet is Blue Too'. The song unlocks are specific to each, and with that in mind, make sure you have completed the correct quest for the unlocks.
