So forever people have been asking Jagex to make this relic a permanent effect. It keeps your adrenaline attack bar from draining out of combat.

On their last stream the devs attitude was it can be done and probably should be done. They said the one catch was they would need to come up with some replacement for the relic.

The REAL QUESTION: why is anything related to combat on this relic system anyways?

I should be enjoying my choice of real buffs and combat should be kept in its place.

Jagex needs to stop using improvements to combat as bait for every new update. It's like a disease they can't find the cure for.

I know the cure and it's easy. STOP DOING IT.

Also, take the luck rings out of there as it is nothing more than trollish bait and they know we all need it for peace of mind. Does anyone SERIOUSLY give a crap in this universe if we combine some rings? I had a 7 foot wooden staff implanted in one of my teeth so I could access the fairy rings. Why can't I swallow a luck ring or some other nonsense? Get real.

It's bordering cruelty to even pretend the other relic rewards exist. But sure, fix that one tiny part of it.

Because more of the player base will use pvm related content over skilling content. When was the last time you did some skilling content that was geared towards L30-40 in a skill? The dev time is better used for something that reaches a larger audience rather than a small one thats outdated in 2 hours as you pass the level scheme for it.

We'd be better off with a new relic system that allowed presets with a higher fee to set the relics (2-3x what it is now?) to a preset and a cheaper one (1/5th the current cost?) to swap between the presets.

I don't see where any of the relics are limited to low level. They all seem to be useful.

Making it cheaper to swap doesn't help a lot since I need the combat ones active to make the game playable. They fix the base function of the game. The others could actually be considered rewards.

There's plenty of combat, skilling and otherwise useful perks in there - so personally I'm all for them.

Sure, persistent rage could be one they make permanent, but that said, the option to go and kill Kal'g Demons for an adrenaline urn is still an option if you'd rather not 'waste' monolith power on what is essentially quality of life.
