Best way to outsmart them is by parking an alt in a different world on the spot they drop the gold. Then stall for time in the safe zone for a few seconds, hop worlds on alt, pick gold, and log off. Assuming that can ever work in the first place.

This has been going on for a long time now.

As I'm in w2 fairly often I get people trying this on me all the time.

The first guy to try spent days trying to get me to try his "Anti-lure
2 as he was making 5b a week, and also had me watch him do it on a random world to make it look legit. Clearly it was a set up.



If it sounds too good to be true, it always is on this game.

Jagex won't really accept screen shots as they can be fake.

Reports ingame are the best way.

They usually don't get banned/muted when you do report them either, perhaps due to multiple accounts being in play. I've had plenty of people attempt to scam me with the "teleport to cammy" teletab scam, and I've reported them, but due to there being evidence in the fact that they try to get you to trade them a phat for a teleport tab they don't get banned.
