I propose that the Rings of Luck have an effect on the drop table of Fire Spirits, this would give fire making a small boost as a skill in terms of reward.
- Baseline loot seems to be better
- You can activate firelighters (those TT junk drops, which might then be more than eyeroll inducing junk) for a buff, which automatically catches the spirits
- Spirits are now items in your inventory, which have to opened first
- They will not affected by the ring of luck, but the flame gloves and ring of fire in some way.
- Other QoL stuff

Thank you for the reply, I've been looking for where you got this information but can't seem to find it.
That basically was one of the game jam projects last year, which was specifically mentioned in one of their streams a while ago. It is part of a set of firemaking improvements, which you'll see being released today. The other stuff was improvements to the balloon network and a set of craftable incense sticks, providing buffs when used.
