RS has just turned 17. To be able to adopt a child in the UK you need to be 21.

Do you think RS3 will survive the next 4 years to reach the age where it could adopt a child. I'm doubtful. Yes. The people feeding it money through micro-transactions aren't just suddenly going to stop. The many loyal players that stick with the game despite its flaws aren't just going to quit. As long as it can find a way to encourage people to open their wallets, it will last a long time.

EoC was supposed to be the death of RS and that hit near the end of 2012. We're now in 2018 and the game is still going strong (profit-wise for the company) and it doesn't look to be struggling financially just yet.

It's going to take a lot more in order to completely kill the game to the point where it cannot find a way to profit. We're nowhere near that I feel. .
