For comp cape I had to kill Har-Aken.

If I want that +2 str bonus I need to sacrifice ALL of the perks of my comp cape ?

Idea: Comp Req - Kill Har-Aken and acquire all 3 Kiln Capes. Which can then be added to the Completionist Cape. To increase it's stats to be on par with the Kiln Capes.

I really want to have my max tele with me and my ability to save ammunition and utilize summoning cape features if I went through the full hassle of Completing the game.

There are no longer comp cape perks for way over two years now.

You always have your three chosen skill cape perks available, unless you're wearing a plain skill cape or an expert cape. All other effects are unlocked passively by doing the respective contents (i.e. as soon as you buy the summoning cape you'll permanently have that reduction active - the remainder of effects is more intuitive). Max guild teleport - check your spellbook - you haven't done that in over two years ? Basically the green ones (sans war's retreat) are the former comp cape ones.

So you're basically taking +2 in one style and sacrificing the other two style bonuses, the health and the prayer bonus - but nothing more than that. And yeah - for ice stryke wyrms the fire/kiln cape now is mandatory, comp cape is identical to max cape now and the max cape never had had that bonus.

And it's likely you'd be wearing other capes in the future, since the kiln capes basically just are t75 items and the cape system no longer is in a deadlock due to being bound to comp. So it's extremely likely you may lose more for wearing a max cape over new things.

Can i put my comp cape into my kiln cape then for the lifepoints and +3 prayer bonus

Came back from a 5 year break, had no clue that M tele was max lol ty.

You can use up to 3 capes on Max/Comp to store those skillcapes' effects. Kiln, and any other capes (besides skillcapes) that you equip will in inherit these effects passively.

You need to split the whole thing into three categories:

Skill cape traits - they basically work like they did ever since their introduction. You use a (master) skill cape on any max or comp cape to unlock or change the effects active. The comp cape rework just changed, that you have those effects upon wearing any cape that isn't a skill cape. If you're wearing a skill or expert cape that effect(s) takes precedence.

Comp cape traits - Except for the ice strykewyrm effect you're unlocking those traits active for you at all time as soon as you're completing that content they belong to - i.e. buying a max cape gives you the max guild teleport, getting avas device allows you to gather ammunition... and you're getting a stat bonus (the difference between max and the former comp cape) upon defeating every boss at least once, which you'll lose again when they're releasing a new boss - but yeah - you'll just lose those stats and not everything related to comp.

Stats and item related passive effects - They're still bound to each item individually. Part of the design was having capes to matter again, so you wouldn't have the comp cape as the best cape at all times. For that two changes were important - the comp cape basically just is a cosmetic variation of the max cape now (with the lost stats restored and made available to other capes by unlocking the reaper achievement and the kiln (and fire) capes exclusively featuring that trait for ice strykewyrms. It's also fairly save to assume they will release new capes with the ful front in GWD3 in october, actually surpassing the kiln and max capes then. But for now you'll need to choose if you want more style specific damage or more health/prayer and the ability to hybrid without switching capes.
