Finally managed it!

Went with a Virtus/Nox staff setup, along with a Ice Nihil.

My one problem with the Nihil is that it doesn't seem very good at switching the TD style - On my successful run, I luckily didn't get any TD's (Although did get several Glacors and Kal'Gerion).

This guide is AWESOME, thank you. :D

For me, magic works on everything, just spam dreadnips and steel titan specials (summoning flasks) on problem issues. Noxious staff definitely helps with DPS and accuracy over Chaotic staff, I didn't bother to buy a tectonic set though, "rented" Virtus set off GE lol.

Dreadnips tend to stand behind you though.

Just Famous title left to recomp :D

Some tips and tricks I found helpful from when I was doing it:

I took all three weapon styles down into the pit with me - I found ranging the Celestial Dragons worked a little better for me than maging them. You really want to drop them before they freeze you in time.

Airut - If they're standing up, mage them. If they're on all fours, melee them.

Glacor: The Glacor gains abilities based on which Glacyte is killed last. Make sure that you kill the enduring first.

I took a jug of Neem Oil (Crush neem dupe with a jug in your inventory) to avoid taking damage from Ganodermic Beast's that were right in front of me - Those at a distance I used binding abilities (Deep Impact, Asphyxiate) to make sure I didn't take too much damage from them.

Congratulations! :)

As for the Ice Nihil being bad at switching the TD's style; that was actually one of the main reasons why I'm suggesting it, because the Steel Titan is slow and can splash (so little point having it. Rather get a Familiar with accuracy buff instead). Rely on your own switches instead of any familiar's, you will be glad if you did :) .

@Kags

I will add the Dreadnips to the Guide once Jagex improves them :P . Here is some insight on that: Dukes Dev Blog 07/11/14

I guess in the end, the TD's didn't matter (It saddens me that I'm so bad, I used to be pretty good at them when claws were 30m - Gives you an idea of how long ago it was!) - I did end up making a range/melee hotbar just for TD's.

The one advantage the Nihil would give on TD's would be not switching the TD's style before you knock the shield down with Holy Water.
