Great guide Lucine.

I tried with Titan but found that the Nihil worked best for me - I'm not a good PvM'er and the path of least resistance (which is what I believe your guide was started for!) helped me no end.

Thank you very much for taking the time to help out.

I have trouble with TD's. Takes me 40 secs - 1 min to kill.

If you take a screenshot of your equipment/inventory/action bar; it will help me seize the issue :)

For TDs my loadout was nox staff + drygore ls/darklight, relying mainly on nox for the large hits with basics and using adrenaline on melee thresholds. Because I was using darklight as a regular weapon, the shield never came up. If you're using a titan, throw a couple of summoning potion doses in there and you should find its spec forces the TD to switch to ranged allowing you to continue to pummel it into the ground with mage :)

I just needed more practice. Used darklight in the end to drop shield (didnt know that u need to do dmg with water/dark to drop the shields, LOL. So i throwed 5-6 waters).

Also used weapon poison ++, and dreadnips for more dps, and steel titan + 10 summ flasks lol.

Lucine, idk if u edited it in but surely titan will be best no matter what now since the update? i tried it & got to wave 27, i put mine to spec after 1 normal attack and had summ flasks on bar just spamming them, also void is op now for rob

Also for tds a nice method is to just constantly mage it after u got rid of the shield and let steel titan spam spec it to force prot range until its dead, shud be done in 20 seconds maybe doing that, wild magic at first, let titan spec, then asphyxiate while it keeps specing

Hello Glacor,

The Steel Titan sometimes splashes (and hit nothing, especially on the TDS). I relied on it; and it failed me (mainly in terms of speed and accuracy). I prefer relying on my own switches than the titan. I appreciate it worked better for you, but this is *not* an Elite Guide, and as I did the whole thing initially without a Familiar to begin with, and I'm not even an Expert PVM'er; I believe most people will be able to do it without the Titan and it is annoyance (sorry, it is annoying to me).

And yes, I edited the thread and remove the Steel Titan part, because after trying it with the AI update (when I initially fully knew it won't be good); I have witnessed how it is an all-time-horrid Familiar (in my opinion).

That being said, I have had this (short) debate on this thread multiple times already, and I don't wish to continue it. But my final words on the subject will be: I will not include the Titan into my original posts, as I believe it is not the best option (especially for non-experienced PVM'ers), however, if people believe otherwise; they are more than free to use it! :)

Lucine,
If you are ingame and see me online, shoot me a PM please. Thanks. :)

Edited: Do you use the annihilate scrolls for the Nihil or just spam the attack options for the familiar? Or just let it do its own thing? I am struggling with this and cannot afford a Nox staff. I have gotten so close though. I got to wave 20 and got assigned ice strikes. I hate those things.

Edit: A friend loaned me a Nox Staff and I got it knocked out.
