Do brawlers work in PoP.

That is, will smith brawlers work when making a Tetsu plate, or fletch work with scrimshaws, craft work with Death Lotus, cooking with Rocktail soup?

If so, does it use only a single charge for a single Tetsu plate/katana?

Yes it will take a long time to burn through the brawlers using only this method - but it might be handy to start out making plates/scrims etc.

Pop stuff is affected by bxp, so it should

Thanks...and good point, I should have realised that.

Just so happens I just got Smith brawlers, so next time I make Tetsu anything I will confirm it for myself - bring on bonus 30k xp drops.

I guess that rewrites the best possible uses. Smith may be a stretch as it will take a VERY long time to use them up, but cooking is feasible.

I do...I go through Ghorrock, via Relleka, and into the wild that way.
So much fm xp, with protean logs.

You have to tuck yourself behind the rock there, to stop the NPC's from being able to get to you, but it is easy access to deep wildy, for max bonus - and rarely anyone around.

EDIT Mining brawlers with Rune give less XP than mining Seren during VoS...so not worth it.
I made this mistake myself.

Actually, thinking of it, aren't lava geysers even better than seren stones for mining brawlers? Since seren stones xp drops are 356 on vos and geysers are 500 (both base xp). And I'm sure it would also be better xp/h, and you can use skillchompas (lava geysers are 100% succes rate, aren't they? I haven't been there in a loooong while). The only downside is it takes a lot more effort ;) .
