Why does it say I am +90% to max xp? I have 4.5b which is 83.33% of 5.4b

It doesnt count the xp, it counts the time spent training efficient. Just means you got slow skills done, fast ones left

For the Phoenix egglings, does it matter if I "Escape" or "Exit" the cave?

Currently I'm just going straight to the boss, with bought feathers, and clicking "Exit"

You get the chance with either option, I got mine by Escaping. Not a Saney.
