and Sam, I think it's a great way to let everyone know who is new, and i know when I got added this was the first thread I visited and said hi. Now it's pointless cause of all the spam.

This was already a spam thread way before they stopped announcing people being added to the hlf, but I liked seeing who was new also. But then again it was Mat K who bothered announcing people added to the hlf, after he left they kinda stopped. Well, Turtle did it a few times, but she's no longer working there either and with the amount of people maxing every day I guess it's just easier for them not to announce everyone being added.
