I actually wonder why this never was an issue in OS (I mean literally the same with HCIM getting banned rather than downgraded to regular IM upon dying, which also always worked like that there) - it's a more clear system saying what you're allowed rather than that insane mix RS3 has - there is content you're not allowed to engage at all, there is content you only can engage with other ironmen, there is content you can engage with any other player. There is content you're allowed to engage with, but receive no non-cosmetic rewards.

But yeah - what's actually the difference between getting supported by other ironmen, rather than a regular account - that's both by definition not self-sufficient. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2
