I perfer not using reddit for that reason...the wait is annoying plus the rsof forums community is more friendly to.

I haven't used reddit in many years so maybe things have changed or at least vary by subreddit, but while all of you guys are toxic, you're toxic in a good way. Reddit is condescending pretentious toxicity. 9/10 people on reddit have quadruple digit IQs as per what their mother told them.

I feel like Reddit is a hive mind where people feel forced to behave within the hivemind mentality out of fear of not being noticed or downvoted to hell
anyone who says anything that's remotely an 'unpopular opinion' is doomed to oblivion and that isn't the case on RSOF so long as you continue to bump your own thread - if you have an unpopular opinion you still have an equal representation as someone who has the most popular opinion

and yes I can't help but think this is also the case
I do browse Reddit but I've never made a post there because I don't have an account (nor do I want one), there's a lot of decent stuff there but most of it (on both reddit pages - RS3 and OSRS) is just a bunch of memes. I guarantee if you go to either reddit front page there will be a meme with at least 1000 upvotes (I've seen as high as ~5500 on OSRS)

I feel like I made one ages ago didn't use it because I got deja vu when I made a new one. I must admit, I've used it more than I expected because I was bored and hlf is mostly dead. I hate non hlf because they're really tetchy on there.
Back when I first frequented reddit, memes weren't such a big thing (wow, I feel old now). So back then, mindless banter was not as viable as vitriol for entertainment.
So Reddit of yesteryear, the average user read about quantum entanglement in public places.
Reddit of today wants their sPeCiAl sauce from McDonald's.
