My first phat was a purple, which I "upgraded" to a yellow, then green, and lastly a red phat. I sold the red phat for 1.9b or something and bought liked 180 bonds that I donated to Oxfam.

Even if I could afford one, I wouldn't buy one. A phat is just pixels. There are more fun items to buy in RS. Plus, I don't care about looking rich in game. I'm already rich in real life. It's the fun of gaming that I am after.
