How about requiring common sense and have the ability to use basic math to post suggestions on the forums?

Or are you going to be paying for these thorough (and expensive) IQ tests. We should fly out specialists to these players homes to conduct these tests too.

You realize online IQ tests are just a way to make stupid people think they're smarter than they are? Literally anyone with half a brain can score a 140 IQ on those stupid tests.

Oh sorry, IQ means everything, huh?

Piss off. Stop being a salty weeb an get a life.

"Only people smart enough to uhh... Pass med school should be allowed to be a mod on a fucking GAME"

What is a weeb?

Depends. I've seen pmods that hop worlds in the varrock ge warding off all the doublers they come across. I've also seen pmods stand 5 paces away from doublers but since they're having a conversation with their friends they don't bother to get involved. I've seen pmods mute people over things like being butthurt about the wealth eval when another player's more successful than they are. I myself have been threatened by a pmod while doing the div cache on an underpopulated world telling me it's his world and if I don't hop it'd be bad for my account status. Yeah. Personally I believe that the pmod system is outdated and that the majority (not everyone, just a big portion) of people who receive pmod are almost entirely useless.

From what I've individually seen, the average pmod only helps the community when it benefits themselves as well, like when there's a certain biased opinion a pmod has towards a different player. An example being: one pmod I had as a friend was a catfish that got triggered by other catfishes, so he'd only mute disruptive people/scammers if they were using a female character. I had another friend that had financial success issues, scammers wouldn't get muted but if she put up a total wealth eval and someone else would eval higher than her to show her up she'd insta mute the person and they'd be unmuted by Jagex a few hours later instead of having to wait a day or two because of the false pmod judgement.

It's probably safe to say that in this type of game it's mildly difficult to find decent people to support the community. The toxicity in mmo's can't be avoided and when you choose someone to try controlling the toxicity when it goes too far that person can be an upstanding player with no offenses against their account but they can also be extremely opinionated, have jealousy issues, anger management problems, or just a lack of dependability and those'll all effect how they operate as a pmod. Jagex doesn't do full-on interviews for that stuff.
Are you sure you'd like to log out? How about now?

Make Mods (PMods/LMods/FMods) have to pass an IQ test in of which the minimum required IQ is 130.

What do you guys think?

...
basically, have MENSA people work on an mmorpg that emphasizes repetitive grinding and RWT in a game engine that can't even make the RWT stuff look good.
...
I'm not sure whether any qualified candidates would apply, but, should the rule be applied retroactively, it'd be nice to part ways with MarkDonald.
