Nox Staff vs SOS - Solak

So I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the extra accuracy against Solak is critical enough to make investing in an SOS worthwhile.

I have yet to find on the very few guides or overviews, due to how new the boss is, anybody using a Nox staff....Mage seems to be the order of the day as well regarding Solak over other styles.

However, I heard somebody claim that Accuracy was less important over understanding how to deal with the mechanics of the boss.


In short:
Has anybody tried Solak with T90 weapons? And was it splash city or completely tolerable?

accuracy against solak should never be an issue

assuming you have a T90 you're at 3670 accuracy
Solak's defence is 2080, and his affinity is 55

which puts your accuracy at 97% (T92 is 100%)

but those numbers are unoverloaded, and I assume that you will be using overloads for the entire fight, which means the only difference between a T90 and a T92 is effectively the ~28 damage increase @Chee__RS

in other words, use a nox staff if you can't afford or don't want to buy a SoS @Chee__RS

Alright, that would pretty much confirm what I've heard then. All that leaves is learning the mechanics and figuring out how to properly DPS lol.

If you're camping only one particular weapon then Seismics/Praesuls are better than Nox Staff/SoS because of Conc Blast.

You're not going to need the Sonic Wave accuracy in any form here.
