Looks like you'll have to start playing again
tbh i might, have been thinking about it, but unlikely. But it feels like there's been a lot of content released since october and I'd have tons of stuff to keep me busy, but idk if i wanna spend the money on it.
I'd say it was worth it, i'm actually enjoying playing again after a similar hiatus.
Hey there. So, I have started playing my Ironman after making it a while ago.
I am a bit lost on what order I should be doing things in. Just not sure what would be the most efficient use of my time. Right now, I am just camping at Runespan because I figure I should unlock ports as soon as possible. But after that, not quite sure what to do.
My Ironman's name is Pyherion, but it's barely been played on. Basically made it a while ago and never committed to it until now. I thoroughly enjoy the "get everything yourself" style of play. It's honestly how I played on my main for a while. Just not sure where I should invest my energy in the beginning stages.
Any advice would be appreciated, as I really want to make this Ironman work and get the account on its feet.
I tried that and basically just almost quit playing lmao.

Well I commend you for unlocking ports asap. I did span as well. I can't reiterate enough the first couple of pages of this thread and its predecessor. Most of the crowd here will scream 'quests quests quests' at the top of their lungs until they're blue in the face. I still haven't done that many. Getting menaphos access and then prif access is a much to be desired. When combatting, pick everything up until you work out what you need most. Herb / farm is really tricky in this respect. Do things like ports, troll invasion and oyster. Misc is really helpful for fm/fletch and smith and craft. Slayer 55 is helpful for good money making, as money is used more than one would expect at the beginning. Remember, using the ingame shops isn't a crime. I'd also recommend getting tuska warpriest for all the armour needs you could ever need. There's bound to be more. I think dreyri had a guide to comping a brandnew ironman somewhere. I've just discussed that which I did personally, minus the over emphasis on quests! Goodluck

Some things I did early on that helped me so much.
• God banner (do it asap!!!) gives + 2 to any skill once a day for 30 min. So handy for herby and anything else you don't have the levels for. This should be among the first things you do imo.
• Getting rune tools in your toolbelt asap is really handy.
• Wicked hood upgrade (feed talismans).
• Warpriest from Tuska (can't stress this enough).
• Get splitbark wand and orb asap (requires 45 woodcutting)
There is plenty more that can be suggested, but these things will get you off to a good start.
The God Banner and Warpriest are probably the two single best things I can suggest when starting out.

I got my first Rune hatchet when I was 90 Woodcutting or so. Did all leveling up to that point in Daemonheim. Didn't exactly mind not having to struggle at metal dragons on a low level
You will never get anything for free. Anyone claiming that is trying to scam, lure or hijack you.

I had so many issues with the steel drags with only a splitbark wand lmao. I practically cried with joy when it finally dropped! I don't think I'll bother so much with the dragon varients unless I go for post max xp as the rates I get with rune so far outweigh the cost and xp loss of pushing for the drag versions, although (and I don't currently have prif access) crystal versions may be worth the extra time in due course. I really hate cb though haha x
