Awesome stuff Bodyy, well done

Seeing that makes me want to learn the spider. Only done a few kills on my noob and none at all on this account.

~ Begin your killing during 2/3 (current rotation and aka spider minions blocked)

~ Use your 3 signs of life (two from aura if you have it and one in your pocket slot)

~ Use melee or range, preferably melee if you can stay at a distance with something like attuned crystal hally or a t85 spear that gives distance (a lot tend to do more dps with melee)

Lastly, just have fun! Araxxor can be rewarding for various supplies on your road to a nox set. The onyx and sirenic is especially nice.

Sorry for the rambling, I just love to see people give rax a go because it definitely offers some nice rewards. I know how demotivating it is for some who struggle there at first, but if you can just remember everyone has trouble there at first, it's ok

I found range suited me best when I tried ages ago. I have the equivalent range set up that I used on Indecent Act, only now I have perks. So I think range will be way to go at first.

I'm totally clueless about path rotations and what ones are best, tbh it didn't seem to make much difference, I took plenty of damage no matter what path was open

The final fight is where I struggled the most though. When the spider gets really mad my successful kills were running around in circles staying within melee distance and wearing it down while eating as much as I could. I've been told that's not the way to do it, but I got a few kills that way.

I haven't watched any guides or anything because I like to give things a good try first, but since I know I can kill it inefficiently I might check out a few vids when I'm in the mood.

I appreciate your tips, you can expect some questions from me when I eventually make a start

I did my one and only range kill for you incase you wanted an idea of what it would be like (refresh your memory) but I made a lot of mistakes since I was new to range so it's a very long kill lol.

P4 Araxxi

> 50% she will perform specials (like cleave) every 5 attacks just like Araxxor
< 50% no more specials
< 25% she takes your adrenaline and releases a core that will damage you

A good strategy is to get her below 50% as soon as possible

~ devo / debilitate as needed

~ prepare to use an ultimate (death swiftness) BEFORE she takes your adrenaline at 25%

~ adren pot once below 25% and use threshold with death swiftness for KO

How to handle the core:

~ The core will come out and bounce around you at 25%

~ simply step one or two spaces away AFTER it hits you for around 2k damage.

~ The core will now bounce around you again for awhile

~ repeat this process as needed, hopefully you only need to tank one hit or none

If you run around like a chicken with your head cut off the core follows you aggressively and will not do the "bouncing around" thing

Side note

~ You have to watch out for insta-kill mechanics with araxxor, other than that there's no reason you can't kill the spider every time!

Insta-Kill/quick K0 mechanic's include:

Araxxor's special: Cleave ~~~ just anticipate or freedom and run away
Araxxor's special: Spider bomb ~~~ just run away (always use anti/freedom before a special)
Araxxor's special: Web shield (you can K0 yourself) ~~~ don't attack with shield up!

Minion spiders specifically mirrorback spider ~~~ don't attack araxxor after he let's minions loose, find and kill the mirrorback then proceed!

The core can be considered an insta-kill if you get combo'd ~~~ just follow my above steps

Of course do this whenever you feel up to it, there's no rush. I just wanted to put some things down while I was thinking about it

I believe the 2/3 rotation will change not this coming reset, but the game reset after. You can always just check what tunnel is blocked via your "beasts" tab, see:

Thank you so much. I just watched your vid, you seemed so calm (no panic running in circles like me). I will use the info you have given (not sure when) and I'll let you know how I go.
