Twice now I have ran into a problem with a Slayer Task concerning Basilisks. I was curious if any others saw this probelm. I have reported it as a bug with no response. (sad)
When I attack a Basilisks I start getting a chartreuse ring pulsing from around my character and a large number of my skill levels drop down to 1 or near 1. My life drops down to near death. I have not died yet because I run away. When I get clear the strange affect stops.
My skill levels will eventually recover over a period of time. (2 or 3 days). Problem is I'm stuck with a Slayer Task that I can't complete which screws up my continued win stat.
I have 99+ in all skills. The Basilisks are easy to kill and I should not have a problem doing that.
Any recomendations since a bug report doesn't work?
