I think its more than a little conspicuous these rs2client issues happened at moment when a whole bunch of us were basically FORCED to upgrade from 7 to 10 or else forfeit antivirus, firewall, etc by 3rd party...

like in my case it was ESET, and that with windows 7 has meant -YEARS- that the client didnt crash. like ever.

so inb4 mope says "oh 10 so good" be sure you can only do that with internet between us. in person I will throat punch anyone who says that.

so some things players have to get told about windows 10 is that skynet won. no you cant uninstall xbox, xbox, xbox, bullshit. you have to keep all of the spying game bar garbage for the ms gaming overlays or else the rs2client wont work, and trying to run all the powershell or command things to find, repair, etc was a long wicked pain in the ass.

since 10 I have crashed like 20 times because 10 sucks and only sheeple like it.

I am guessing that steam is a workaround and that steam will more agressively bully windows with its big fat install, but... sigh... I am really sad to let go of how light I used to be able to rock this.

all the bloated dead code, all of the spyware... I mean... this is taking us back 10 steps to when "wild tangent" bogged down our 56k dial up.

oh yeah. this is why I will never play OSRS because there are relics of wild tangent in it.

the idea is that it watches what you play and then shows you ads for new games similar as paid to do it.

minor disclaimer: I have lots of canada friends and our cabin fevers are opposite.
canada the cabin fever is in winter (its cold. you stay in with heat)
texas the cabin fever is summer (its hot. we stay in with AC)

Im not some kinda weird anti-canada texas nationalist or whatever.
