1. "community led billing support" is radically offensive. it should never have existed. clear security risk. delete that whole subforum, and similar discord channel, etc. no no no.

2. add to "why are you canceling membership?" choices the answer "customer support sucks." we don't want to be canceling first in order to renew, but the real reason is that customer support, billing support, etc really really suck. the only choices allowed right now pin the blame on other teams like "the game got boring" or "not enough updates."

the game is fine. I love the game.

3. start to let us leave rsof by requesting prunes. I used to admin a big UBB, as big as this, back in 1997 to 2002 for resident evil. I pruned by user many times, but each time I ask about doing that here I get a conspicuous "run around" answer betraying... that... either no one has the old control panel password, and/or god help you if mention that GDPR is based on a newly defined "right to be forgotten" because it sounds like we found something actionable and are coming to sue. no. not. nope.

dozens of reasons make good sense why. it seems a mistake to get into the why of it. the easiest seems to be that... we are all unable to block players we dont like from reading what we put here. this has to have come up before... like two players got divorced or something, and itd obviously cause problems if they had to write near each other at these forums all the time, but couldnt use block features like everywhere else on the net since 2002.

1. community can help in many ways. there is no need to give sensitive information. i dont see how its offensive? i guess im not that sensitive...

2. there is "other" that can cover that. if there was an option for everything the list be too long

oh yeah? say you had problem, and I lurked and saw it. I could flame you for it. or you read I had problem and coyly honk my dick that if I just looked for helpers I'd find them (oh. wait. thats what you are doing. nevermind about pretending)

right now its my daughter havin trouble renewing annual gold VIP and the gameless forum mods, so far not one of them ranked even 0% enrage ed4 telling me bullshit like dig into the oddments, benefits and claim... ugh... no. she runs 99 enrage ed4 with me all the time. she been playing a year and knows more than they fucking do about playing in the game. theyre just flaming me and ignoring dozens of other unmoderated threads in same forum about same thing. its the most discriminatory bullshit they've almost ever done.

lots of players had exactly this problem for this whole month and a fix for everyone doesnt seem to be forthcoming because mods are squabbling pettily about whether or not they can leash me and pretend I obeyed them

2. dont lick boots man. everyone knows the customer support for runescape is withered at best. its generally been okay because like... at blizzard if I had problem I could call, talk to person on phone, theyd fix my problem. at jagex its more like... we argue at forums about fix for everyone, and it can take them as long as a year, but they tend to fix things for everyone.

until now.

now we're in weird rut where forum and player mods are not listening to the rest of the players, and theyre stamping out anything thats debate like its toxic or something. its the least useful bias, confirmation bias, and I am not explaining all of that pyschology again right now, but like... its why you know what a square peg is.

I am being forced to talk to them because they exist. I shouldnt be. I want gone off this, by pruning, en toto, which if I am successful in petitioning for means your replies get chucked too, so dont spend long on whatever reply.

if I am lucky... I get gone from rsof like I was never here.

this is the month the years worth of goodies come out, right? but like... if you try to go post at reddit with 0 karma no one sees it. if you post to rsof the gameless p mods hiding all but the stupidest questions.

its systemic. you build high karma accounts to sell by asking lots and lots of dumb questions. not giving a few good answers. cause the machines won. all that matters is content by volume and rating high on relevance engine metrics.

so practically NOTHING good can come of leaving "community led billing support" in place. it needs to be closed and erased post haste. you post there angry and get hidden by daaaaaaaw adorable players just us like who put a few moments of blood and tears into hiding our angry complaints and get to wear authority figure hats at forum where...

mod lee made sure as revenge for hisdeath at cw so many times to me that 1) feedback closed 2) war score pages dissolved 3) accomplishment titles better than his crowns were hidden

so yeah. why would I even seem mad, right!?

oh wait. yeah. cause I know I will NEVER NEVER take a dime for playing. I pay to play for this right to stay angry.
