Before Jagex wastes too much money on this, can they take a few minutes to dump the data they collected? That would be incredibly convenient and helpful.

From my POV it's a crock. If you're gonna die wear the ring of death. If you so badly need another ring when you think you might die then you got some serious greed issues. Yes. Greed. Cause you ain't me hitting minimal damage, you are squeezing that lemon for every drop.

The people bringing everything they own are bad for the game. The devs and those players need to figure out what the hell they are doing. A completely different problem. IF you got fort knox on your back and you die anyways that is on you for dealing with that content instead of complaining about it. It sucks, there ya go.

So the whole deal comes down to the noobs. I am a noob who has advanced all the way up to ring of death user. The basic deal it just needs to be clear which bosses can be tanked out, which ones also need a yak, and which ones are programmed by fiends who only want to steal your shit.

If you go to the shit stealer with all your shit then good luck.

You already can offer free death events. Unless you got some insanely clever idea that is easy (Monday release) then what are you trying to accomplish?

Maybe there is something in the data that would change my mind. It is so significant that I am nearly demanding it. To no one in particular.

Oh, this reminds me of this thing they call constructive criticism. I've never really been into it so I decided to google it.

Basically, it's also a crock. It's like I am terrible at what I do but nobody can complain to me about that. I only accept kind and specific instructions of what I should be doing instead.

Like what?

I am not here to train anyone. What fantasy world did this come from? From EMPLOYEES and EMPLOYERS.

We don't have any such relationship. So don't bother asking.

I brought this up because they should appreciate ANY feedback. It's up to them to improve from it or not.

If I say the update sucks and you don't understand why? You really thought I would be singing your praises for taking a dump all over my screen? We are not on the same page, the same book, the same planet. My instructions would be pointless.

In those cases I am talking to the bosses. It's their job to be constructive. To train that employee. Figure it out, or just sit on your data and thumbs up a post on reddit every time you get bad reviews. That's efficient.

It's Jagex just found out they have an Executive Producer day. They refer to themselves as Keeper, which seems equally optimistic and suspicious.

Edit: Jagex announced this on Reddit, looking for questions. As above, they request it to be constructive.

Like, how can we be constructive towards someone we have no knowledge of? There is only one thing reasonable.

Q: Why did you hide in a hole for 9 months? You could have come out with the Groundhog and predicted 6 more weeks of patch notes.

Any mods can feel free to pass that along.

At this point I would start to think Jagex is hiding something in their free death data.

As I sit here waiting I can't help but think of a fictional PR success story.

Imagine if someone at Jagex had the awareness to point out that they got a little stupid with TH and made a few mistakes. None of this constructive adjustment BS that nobody believes.

They could have come out and offered us a new method of training in exchange for the billions of free xp. Like you can win dino tooth, essential oils and other nonsense that made thousands of players quit the game due to poop rarity.

The reality is these amateurs weren't going to do anything. The only reason there was an update today is because millions of people had a Reddit Riot and forced their hand. Poor Jagex Jack had to pass a hat around the office looking for rewards.

The skilling council only had rabbit food, but the combat committee was willing to sacrifice the ring of vigor and 2 (TWO) percent drop boost on crappy GWD3 rates.

Again, this could have been a PR victory, but the player base is just blankly staring at the devs wondering what fantastic story the EP will drop in their Q&A stream.

Booooo!

Didn't mean to scare you, I know it's a timid crowd.

That's my reaction to learning we don't actually have any game developers.

I've been such a fool, I have been giving them SUGGESTIONS when they require INSTRUCTIONS.

That's the whole constructive feedback thing. PLEASE TRAIN US.

PLEASE TELL US WHAT TO DO.

WE WORK FOR YOU.

Wheeeeeeee.

In my quest for news, I saw the most amazing thing on the home page. Zamorak heel turn.

Now, I understand Zammy and his clan are the most evil creatures that ever existed.

But when I accuse him of doing even more evil things, it is only because we are actually pals. I can teleport directly into his throne room. Moia and I disagree and try to kill each other from time to time, but it's all good. We all know the rules so you prepare, by like standing there in shock as you are blown to smithereens.

They say it is an elite dungeon, so it is automatically a torture chamber. I hate the thought of it. ED1 is black mark on the gaming industry.

Even worse, there will be new lore books. Drop rate is 1/36M light years divided by your lowest skill multiplied by the runedate squared. No matter what the formula, it is basically zero plus your kill count percent. My favorite.
