Nope they aren't.
The reason they said that these pets aren't required is because they're minions of the boss pets, so not an actually boss pet, but still its weird cuz bombi and vitalis are required even tho they aren't really the boss.

They aren't required but the Tuz pet should be. The Krar one isn't even a boss drop. There's nothing stopping you and me from making all these memories.
