so im running low on patience for thiev pet. im curious what best option to get thiev pet. as the pet is done via ticks not xp. the xp gained means nothing. its all how many ticks per hour you can do.

im currently doing safe cracking at Zemouregal's fortress. with out the stethoscope. so i can stay there entirely and not need to teleport to others.

is this the best way you think for pet? or any obscure thiev methods that maybe more ticks per hour?

(ive done mainly prif about 25m over 200m at prif. so now wanting to do something different, unless prif is best best place to do it. but i dont think its most ticks per hour)

oh and if a j mod happens to stumble on this im curious what i have done past 200m. 25m was a rough guess. (i know i have higher chance of pet in next 5 minutes than this)

I eventually got it with prif thieving - after 60m xp starting from 120 when the pets were released. I think as long as an activity can award the pet it should be something you can do without too much of interruptions.

That said I've seen a lot of players getting that pet after the safes were freshly released. I guess you're on the right way, but you just do not have the needed bit of luck. Improvements: Tooltip / (F2P) QoL v2

Yeah my understanding on the drop chance of thiev pet is its tick based. If it takes 1 tick to do the action its 0.00034% chance (at 200m) for pet if it takes 10 ticks to perform then its 0.0034% to get pet. So more ticks used oer hour even if it is 1 at time will be better. Which is why im trying safecracking with no boosting gear or stethascope. So takes longer to crack.

im aware its rng but there is a formula as stated. to give better chance of said drop.

im aware some people can get at 1 thiev and another can be 1b xp with out it.

what im asking is how i can roll this dice more often for a chance of receiving pet
