First 99 was in 2008 (Woodcutting), Maxed 1/1/13.

Was so stoked back then, but now you just get 120's like they're the equivalent of 99's. The bonus exp saturation is real and as much as I feel more accomplished and like to think I'm the only one getting these ridiculous exp rates, I'm not.

Something needs to be done. Some people say it's too late, but the optimist in me keeps saying it's never too late until you're the last person left playing. *fingers crossed*

Back in the day, people gained experience to unlock fun material. People got 99s because they truly loved the skills and the capes. Now all most regular players care about is showing off. You see it on OSRS as well. People forget it is a game and is about fun.

I can't even remember exactly why I maxed. It wasn't specifically for HLF (that was a great addition) because I was permanently banned from the forums before maxing so I didn't think I'd even get access to it. .

I blame the capes. Especially now that they have actual effects.
