id like to ask OSRS player how they feel about they fact that petty flame baiting past dwelling trolls like zeus here represents them on HLF's
do you hang your head in shame at his tired old exhortations veiled so poorly as to look like the emperors new cloths?
or do u exalt in his mindless droning through mutual feculence?

Not sure why you keep trying to bait people on a dead forum

Is that another one of your rs3 vs rs4 flame baits or what
This is not bait, its a genuine question
The majority of the RS3 reddit seem to actively want the game to get easier. They have no sense of resisting things like game integrity or mindless xp rate increases that used to be present in forums of the past. Most people on there seem to be high or highish levels as well. They have the most interaction with rs3 jmods on there so their attitudes are directly affecting changes to the game.

The mods are worse than the people who post. One of the mods (although it's probably all of them really) likes to let the power get to his head. He banned me from the reddit fc, the discord, and the clan, for absolutely no reason at all, and when I asked why he refused to answer. I lost a lot of friends because of that. He would probably ban me from the subreddit if he knew my name too. He's one of the main reasons that sub has gone downhill so much. I'm just salty about him for the most part, but the mods really let a lot of thing slide on there if it benefits them, and things that should be posted, they remove.
I'm not surprised with bad behaviour from any of them
Both subreddits (rs3 and osrs) are basically disguised jagex puppets

Who wants OSRS-level grinding on something that's heavily affected by micro-transactions? Any effort made to skilling would be killed by all the promos we see. It's no surprise people no longer resist XP rate increases. Those easier methods to gaining XP help satisfy those that can't afford to buy the XP they need. If it's somewhat easy and not as tedious to do for free, then you can look past the fact XP is buyable for real money. If all skilling was OSRS-level and anti-AFK WITH the frequent XP-destroying promos we see, far more people would be angry and in the end demand for easier XP training anyway.
Most of us have simply stopped caring about XP in general and focus on parts of the game not affected by micro-transactions.
Plus, I think a lot of players have moved away from grinding that mainly made RS have a sense of difficulty. Instead, they want the difficulty to come from somewhere else. As it stands, combat, specifically high-level bosses, are getting it right.
The players on RS are generally older players and the older people get, the more responsibilities they tend to get in life which means they have less time to play and get things done. If the majority become like this, the game probably needs to change with them if it wants to keep on going. The last thing you want is the game to remain the same and then die because its current playerbase cannot commit to it anymore. We don't really get new players to make up for an aging playerbase, so the game has to move with the older players instead.
In the end, unless you actually play RS3, these issues shouldn't bother you.

I am pretty old fashioned: I don't use i.e. discord, twitter, twitch, facebook or reddit. To me all that social media hype is equally dung. 'Yesterday' it was myspace or zorpia, 'today' it is facebook and 'tommorow' God knows what, Snapchat, Whatsapp etc. People disperse on all those platforms, leaving space everywhere. Ofc the RSF is fainting due to that.
Yes, moderation (and its tools) comes with power. With power comes responsability. But what have we learnt of real life police force? Exactely! They stick together, no matter what.
And yes, the game has shifted from grind to death into something that infiltrates the users / consumers brain. Face the music, it's called 'Skinner Box'. I never understand any human being that desperately thinks that we are the top and the cream of evolution. We are animals and our behaviour patterns can as such be predicted and triggered. And the gaming industry knows this.
My 50 cents. Carry on.

I dont look at rs3 content usually (almost maxed osrs iron btw) but I looked at some of their recent top posts... they all suck?
I'm glad OSRS has a better Reddit regarding conversations about their future. /Sacrasm.
I'd rather take light hearted 'memes' that nobody takes seriously than what rs3 gets. The day I posed this thread (or maybe the day before) there was a highly voted thread that was asking for discontinued holiday items to be released. This is the kind of thing I mean by integrity. Also I think the osrs mods are a lot more genuine than the rs3 ones.
Its a miracle for Jagex that Mod Osbourne has managed to carry his good, honest guy persona when it's clear as day that he's the mouthpiece for Jagex corporate and he's not even good at hiding it. Same with Mod Shauny. It's funny that sticking a jolly fat guy, that says
in every post, in front of all the bad news, lies and broken promises can make people not even care about the problems anymore.
