Pls they did something you could never do: Make Morgan remove that hideous flowerpot for 24 hours (+ extra time!). That alone takes godly power to do because of her strong attraction to the hat.

It allowed them to thus use her downtime to WEAKEN the hat and what do you see now? Morgan getting infected and weakened by THE GERM, and the hat cannot do anything about it due to its weakened state.

You're pretty weak so they only needed to use manipulation to get past you. Pretty bad on your part if all it takes is some manipulation to alter your state of mind.

Mind control wasn't needed because of how weak the target was. They don't waste power unless it is absolutely needed.

In Morgan's case, simple "human" techniques didn't work, so they had to resort to using higher power to get the job done.
