I think the term "ill-gotten" is a little harsh for people buying them cheap on the GE...

It implies they scammed them, or lured them, or stole them, or something, not bought them for cheap.

Na, I think its appropriate when you're trying to bulk buy items that have possibly been glitched into the game.

99.9% sure Jagex screwed up again, yes. They did a better job of cleaning the mess this time around though.
