I tried staff once and I felt so weird... maybe because I'm used to wands, but I'm never abandoning my wand ever again.

EDIT: I also don't like the look of noxious staff, and wand looks great.

I don't see how it's any different, though.

It's actually easier to pull off with a staff because you don't need to time a combo ability (conc blast), you can just spam after sonic wave. Unslain Bosses - Clan

Conc blast, the 2 hits is required for i think? 157% dmage, but if u get a spinner and gotta move u usually only get off 1hit which is half the damage, sonic wave is 1tick abil and gets the 157% dmg off anyway seeing as u move around alot at rots

Better DPS (Seismics are only better if you don't have to move and can pull off the 3rd conc blast hit every time)

More accuracy.

You don't have to stand in 1 spot whilst you sonic wave, whereas with conc blast you have to stay in 1 spot to deal 2 of the hits. Unslain Bosses - Clan
