Sounds more like they're wanting to use him as a substitute (like United in his first years) or to have someone in back up in the event Benzema gets injured. After Previous season I don't expect anyone else than Benzema to be the starter in their line up.

Neither do I, but I had hoped for Falcao, especially with the top class financial mind this summer. Only spent a couple million on transfers.

Well Kroos was a bargain, cheaper than United paid for Shaw and Herrera lol
