Break into ore, and dismantle everything steel+

It's a profit at Kalgerions, and a profit at Airuts just from the Rune items, and that's counting in the failrate of Rune items.

I started to dismantle steel/mith/addy just because it was more profit than just not looting them at all, it's great. :> Unslain Bosses - Clan

+ Useful info, Joe. I've always wondered about Spring cleaner. I've got one in bank but when I clicked on it and saw all those features and settings I was discouraged.

Why not steel?

Assume 3 bars per item is average, that's 3 iron ore, and 6 coal. That's 2,226 gp for a 400 gp spring. Steel barely has a fail rate as far as I am aware either, so you're bound to profit at least 1k+ per spring average.
