Something really strange just occurred. Game took ages to fetch updates, my graphics and audio settings were all over the place, my zoom was off. In other words, I loaded the game but it was as if I was loading the game for the first time, no cache was lost however so fortunately I didn't have to wait for everything to load while in-game.

Moreover, hotkeys remained intact, so only specific settings were affected by this strange occurrence.
Really strange.
