Good luck getting advice mid-floor for ferret trap.

Nom the wood into couple traps, run to ferret spot, lay trap where it spawned, and any walls facing it's spawn that it could get trapped on trying to run back, run out, wait a bit, then back in and NOM THE FURRY GIT.

Oooor, headless chicken everyone in room run after it - go.

Or plan c: too hard, rip dungeon, everyone live in the base and eat the moss off the walls. ;-;

It's chests looted with at least 6 Brothers killed. (Assuming you mean Boss Slayer?)

Just 6, it works the same as getting an item does, I think. (You only need 6/7 brothers killed to get the best chance of the armour, you just won't get the armour of the 7th brother you skipped)

Got my 80 chaos elemental kills done.

World hopping is the best way to go.

Bring pack yak full of sharks, 30 yak scrolls, a yak pouch, and 1 super restore pot. Bring EEE to conserve sharks.

Have the rest of your inv full of sharks. Take advantage of yak with sharks to keep your inv full from chaos elemental unequipping your items.
