Grats on the kill! Looking forward to seeing the official mechanics list myself also. Did they fix the walking thingy yet btw? The "turn-on-walk-and-never-get-hit" one, not the "get hit, move 2 sq, get hit after 5 bounces" one.
In other news, went to QBD for something different, managed a 1:25 mage kill with virt gear/yak/no debuffs/noscrim/vamp aura.. Boss timers make older stuff interesting again
Boss timers really do make bossing (especially older ones) more interesting. I've yet to try for any records yet. I'm still curious about Araxxor so watching tons of streams + reading posts about it.
Stand in the light spot on the floor to avoid taking bleed damage... Change prayer to reduce damage, lure the fireball to eggs when it's around
Eventually Araxxor will charge, and you'll have to choose which direction to dodge in... A full dodge damages the wall by 50%, a partial dodge is around 25% (and 2.5k to you), and a failure is 0% damage to the wall (and 5k damage to you)
Even with the acid wave out of the picture (since supposedly we can trap it) - how will that make multiple kill trips possible? The normal attacks of Araxxi hit pretty insane even with decent Prayer switching so you still need to spam eat food and try to switch prayers at the same time whilst trying to DPS also.
Unless there is a way to lessen the accuracy and aggression of her normal attacks, I can't see multiple kill trips being possible.
One thing that happened though, which was kind of weird, I got hit for a 5k on the charge thing, but it also took the wall out by 50%. I can't really prove it but it seems to be a bit...
