It'll be worse DPS.

People who think 2h weapons are better than tier 90 Dual Wielding would also believe that Chaotic Maul was better than Chaotic Rapier pre-EoC.

They look at the fact you can hit high and think that's it, they don't take into consideration the speed of the weapons or the accuracy of the weapons.
