Just get a tacklebox with 22 or so urns (could do 11 and 11) then after your daily use 15 urns 11 porters bait and box (extra 30). If you get any lode shards on your first porter just run to the bank or destroy it.

You should use the fishing outfit and the crystal amulet. That aura is useful but I don't have it. Granite lobsters boost your fishing but I don't think they make a big difference. I summon one in bank and ignore it after it dies, until the next trip. I suppose you could carry a second pouch to use but anything more requires potions and stuff so it's probably too much effort.
