My very old laptop had Windows Vista

I played with that laptop until late 2011 :P

PC specs consisted of the following:

Intel GMA 950 graphics card
40GB S-ATA HDD
1GB DDR2 RAM
Intel Celeron M430 @ 1.73GHz
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit

Most of my older videos were made with this lawl - the struggle was real

As a first resort, try deleting your rs cache and rerunning the game. Also are you trying to load the game via browser or client?
