What I'm fearing. Revolution should be more than enough for the people who dislike abilities/combat in general. If they dislike revolution, how did they manage with pre-eoc anyway? PvP will never be the same lol..

Should've done 200m mage/def/hp/summoning/made bank at glacors earlier I suppose

Well the interface is nice as well but yeah that + revo should really be decent enough for them. I guess this is the players way of slowly making Jagex "remove" eoc but in a more clever way :P

It seems to be working as well lolz

Don't get me wrong - I LOVED pre-eoc and enjoyed every second of it back then but that was in the past, I've actually grown to love the new system the more I use it. It's a shame that it's reverting back to the old ways slowly.

Where did you see that month thing mentioned? I know it's when it's ready, which can be several months from now if players aren't happy. And trust me, at the moment players don't seem very happy. You feel so nerfed in the beta that it's not even remotely fun. Hi

What next?

Legacy Mode is just one of a many major improvements we’re making to RuneScape’s combat this year, and you can read about the other features in the Evolution of Combat Improvements. As you can see, we’ve got a ton of plans and this is obviously a lot of work for our combat development team. As a summary, here’s our current plan for combat improvements:

April - Combat Improvements Beta update.

May – Release current batch of combat improvements.


June – Legacy Mode beta.

June – Release rejuvenation of PvP improvements.

Summer TBD – Legacy Mode, 138 combat calculation and special attacks.

Summer TBD – Grouping system & first batch of PvP content reworks.

Maybe it has changed but I've seen nothing that says otherwise.

Some abilities do less damage and aren't as effective which would obviously result in less xp/h due to kills being slower.
