Ya people got it into their heads that SS is op even though you need to use protect prayers 99% of the time bossing, and regardless, Curses/Overloads/Etc were only "Op" when used together, imo.

I think you're not, but personally I'm happy having more openness and mobility with stuff... Was never fond of being limited to one window being open, now I can have almost as many as I want
But the problem is unless you are a fixed screen player. You won't understand how frustrating the RS3 UI and General Interface is. No matter how hard I try to make mine look like Pre-RS3. I will have to suffer with those

yellow arrows.
RS3 is great for non fixed users but for those who do play fixed. It's awful.

This.
The amount of over exaggerating that went on about how "OP" everything was is ludicrous.
I still think a vote for nex/curses/ovl's would pass since it's a niche group of poor noobs with zero drive that would vote against it. They need to shut up with the whole "THIS IS OLD SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" when they're getting updates that are pushing that push the boundary of purely 2007. Seeing as they already got GWD and are now getting CLW, we all can see the direction everything is going. We/they would much rather have it be early 2011 when Nex was released and... idr when curses were tbh. If not that, the next step ofc is Corp.
Undoubtedly Corp will at some point make its way into "OS"RS.
I believe that the only reason spirit shields were "OP" in 2010/11/12 was because of the price. If they had have been more common, they'd have been more accessible, and would have essentially fought against the "damage creep" issue, which would have been a lot better of a fix than the eoc was.

I think people have gotten over that mindset somewhat because of rag pk'ing. At least to me, I used to think the same thing back when corp was released. Then I learned that bridding is pretty much a win-win-win in every situation.
